WWE reportedly delayed a ‘major long storyline’ due to COVID-19

WWE does not have an off season so the stars never get a break and the different storylines continue throughout the year, one after another.

 


 

However, the company pans out a major storyline every once in a while and it appears that one such storyline had to be cancelled due to the changes that have been made to avoid risks of coronavirus.

According to reports from WrestleVotes, the company had planned a long major storyline that was expected to unfold in the span of weeks during the spring and summer.

The angle was in the same league as the Nexus invasion or Vince McMahon’s limo explosion but it was put on hold due to the lack of fans in the attendance:

The report does not provide any more detail on the matter so it’s hard to say what the storyline was but it’s likely that the company will use it once they are allowed to have audience back in the arenas.
