WWE has announced a stacked line-up for next Friday’s SmackDown on FOX.
It was announced during this week’s SmackDown show that Money In the Bank briefcase holder Otis will return with Mandy Rose next week. WWE noted that the love story between the two will continue next week.
Gran Metalik is the new #1 contender to WWE Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, and will get his title shot next week. This week’s SmackDown saw Metalik win a Fatal 4 Way match over Shorty G, Drew Gulak and his Lucha House Party partner, Lince Dorado.
Nikki Cross vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is also official for next week. Cross became the new #1 contender to Bayley after defeating partner Alexa Bliss in this week’s SmackDown opener. Bayley had announced that Cross and Bliss could compete for a title shot, if they wanted to. They hesitated at first but Cross shoved her to get things moving. The segment ended with Cross and Bliss back on the same page.
Naomi vs. Lacey Evans was also announced for next Friday night. This will be a rematch from last week’s quick win for Evans.
