Former WWE star Zach Gowen had one of the most talked rivalry with former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Gowen recently opened up about sharing the ring with ‘The Beast Incarnate.’ During the Ruthless Aggression Era, Lesnar established himself as one of top up and coming stars in the professional wrestling industry. Meanwhile, Gowen, whose left leg was amputated years ago, is the only one-legged gallant WWE star in history who showed undying spirit against the powerhouse.
Zach Gowen reveals he had trust in Brock Lesnar
Speaking on Rewind Recap Relive – Wrestling Interviews recently, Gowen claimed that he trusted Lesnar with his body when the two men shared the ring. Interestingly enough, the 39-year-old stated that if Lesnar legitimately hurt him during their match, he would have to face zero consequences due to the massive heat on Gowen at the time.
“I trusted him with my body, you know, to take care of me and at the time I had so much heat in the locker room that if he legitimately hurt me, he would’ve suffered zero ramifications…. and I wanted to create something special and I wanted to create a moment and I wanted to amp up the level of violence because I always liked those big guy vs. little guy matches. I liked the uniqueness,” said Gowen.
Brock Lesnar is currently on a hiatus and one of his pictures is making the rounds on social media. However, it has met with immense backlash from the fans. Lesnar keeps his personal life private and usually stays away from the limelight. He resides on a farm in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. Fans are aware that Lesnar likes to hunt. A recent picture of Lesnar is circulating on social media, in which he can be seen posing with the head of a buck that he seemingly killed.
Lesnar recently had a gruesome battle in a Last Man Standing match with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Lesnar made his entrance for the match on a tractor at SummerSlam. He had also used the vehicle and lopsided the ring, Reigns being inside the squared circle. During the closing moments, Reigns and The Usos attacked Lesnar. Lesnar popped up every time he was knocked down to everyone’s shock. He was put under a pile of tables, chairs, and steel stairs that prevented him from making it to his feet. The show ended with Reigns holding his titles high and the medical team checking on Lesnar at ringside.
