WWE Smackdown Show In December Canceled?

WWE SmackDown schedule for December might be having some changes for December 24th and 31st. It is both for live event and tv perspectives. Recently SmackDown also lost an important TV deal as well.

Two WWE SmackDown editions will have changes

As per the reports on Wrestling Observer Radio, it turns out The December 24th episode will be taped the week before, on the 17th in Chicago. Thereby, Chicago will get 2 SmackDown shows that night, in which one will be live and the other one will be taped. Speaking about the December 31st episode, there will not be a live event.

It has been noted that they were supposed to be in Charlotte, but that show was canceled a few weeks ago and they will also not be on FOX that night, they’ll be on FS1 from 8 to 10 with a “year-in-review” kind of show. FOX also dropped some AEW Dynamite bombshell. There is a possibility that the storylines for the ppv the following night will be recapitulated while they could add a few taped promos.

We will have to see how WWE plans on to work the editions when the time comes.
