WWE SummerSlam brings a sudden change in the backstage condition

WWE is taking its main roster shows outside of the Performance Center for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. This weekend, they will be hosting three back-to-back events at the WWE ThunderDome – WWE SmackDown, WWE SummerSlam, and WWE RAW.

Heading into the packed weekend, WrestleVotes has reported on the backstage spirit in WWE, which seems to be pretty high.

WWE SummerSlam backstage mood ‘off the charts’

For the first time in months, the backstage spirit at WWE seems to be looking up. Not only is the company looking forward to The Biggest Party of The Summer, but the venue itself is adding to the excitement around it.

The report said that many offstage road employees who had been away from WWE due to the pandemic were returning. With SummerSlam 2020 now only a couple of days away, the mood in the backstage is brighter than it has been in a long time.

“Source in Orlando says spirits are as high as they’ve been in some time. Many backstage road employees who have been off are returning & the intrigue of the ThunderDome has staff excited. The energy this weekend from the talent performing should be off the charts.”

WWE had previously tweeted on the cutting edge features of the WWE ThunderDome.

The WWE SummerSlam card also comes star-studded, with Randy Orton challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship, Braun Strowman defending his WWE Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt’s The Fiend, and Asuka fighting for both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s title among others.
