WWE in talks to debut new show on Facebook live

WWE is always looking for new opportunities and they obviously value the power of social media. Therefore it should come as no surprise they’ll be more than happy to investigate a new form of social interaction that’s taking over.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that WWE is in talks with Facebook live to start a new show which, if it goes according to the plan this new show would air live on Facebook after Smackdown Live. This would probably mean 205 Live wouldn’t be so “live” anymore because it could be taped before SmackDown goes on the air.

Now comes the question as to what they’re going to do with this new show concept? The Sheet said WWE has changed their mind about this a few times. But it is interesting that WWE recently filed a trademark for WWE Mixed Match Challenge which could be what The Sheet reported when they said WWE was leaning on a cross-promotional or mixed-tag themed show.

It’s said this could go down by January so we’ll just have to see how it all pans out.
