Injury update on Heath Slater

According to initial plans, Heath Slater was going to win the Call Your Shot battle royal at Impact Wrestling’s Bound For Glory event. However, he suffered an injury during the match and had to be eliminated. The finish of the match was changed and it was Rhino who ended up winning the match. Thankfully, the stipulation said that if either he or Rhino won then Heath would receive a contract.

Now an update has been provided by Slater himself. He took to Instagram and made a post, updating fans on his status. He was told by two doctors that he suffered a hernia, but then after going to a hernia specialist he came to know it was something else entirely.

He suffered a “partially torn abductor muscle” which was torn off the bone. He will not require surgery for this injury.
