The Rock is still regarded as of the most popular pro wrestlers in the history of the business. He has competed against the best of the best as far as the world of professional wrestling. This includes someone like Chris Jericho, who has had several matches against The Great One. Roman Reigns vs The Rock major spoilers were also leaked previously.
WWE moving to Peacock and having all of its content there has led to a lot of backlash from fans. It seems that Peacock has also removed a lot of parts from The Rock’s iconic segment ahead of The Rock and Steve Austin’s match at WrestleMania 19. The Rock was in top form as Hollywood Rock and was a huge heel during the segment.
The Rock recently took to Twitter as he called out false journalism. The Rock then proceeded to reveal how he was considering going to MMA in 1997 after a bad run with professional wrestling.
WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is certainly one of the top competitors in the company right now and has been on a solid run as the WWE Universal Champion, but he is losing his top spot to two WWE Smackdown women. Roman Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal Championship against WWE Hall Of Famer Edge and Daniel Bryan in a triple threat match in the main event of Night Two of WrestleMania 37. Roman Reigns might also be losing Paul Heyman eventually.
Although the WWE Network as a platform still functions internationally, the WWE Network dissolved its United States operations in 2021 and would sign with NBC and Peacock. Media rights expert, Dan Cohen, said the following of the move at the time: “It’s a big win for WWE, the price point comes down so you hope that subscribers and eyeballs go up. They got out of the technology space and don’t have to keep maintaining and updating tech which changes every minute.”
Fun for journalist to dream up the scenarios if I had competed in @ufc (there was a point in 1997 where I considered going to Japan to train to begin an MMA career when my wrestling career was failing miserably). Realized quick I actually hate being punched in the kisser
