WWE had been keeping tabs on a select few wrestlers for a while now. Thunder Rosa is included in that list. Rosa had applied to WWE in the past but in the role of a referee. She was unable to make the tryout owing to a hurricane.
Rosa recently lost the NWA Women’s Championship against Serena Debb at the Prime Time Live event.
Dave Meltzer took to Twitter and revealed that WWE has shown interest in signing Rosa. He added that All Elite Wrestling has been keen on hiring her as well

Rosa losing the NWA Women’s Title at this time is certainly interesting timing. We will have to see what she does next.
