Later in the clip, D’Amore stated Impact is currently on the road to “Braun For Glory,” which is a tease that Strowman could make his promotional debut at the Bound For Glory PPV event in October.

Although they were joking around, there could be some truth. Murphy’s non-compete clause expires on August 31st, so he can’t make his debut this Thursday. Regarding Strowman, he is also free to sign with a promotion on August 31st. Mark Henry has publicly stated that he would like to see the former Universal Champion join AEW. We will see where they end up.
