Charlotte Flair has been absent from the world of WWE for a long time now. ‘The Queen’ Charlotte has been sidelined in WWE since needing a surgery.
There have been rumors of Charlotte taking extended time away from the company — as much as a year. However, now, Charlotte Flair has provided an update on her condition on her Instagram Story. There, Charlotte revealed that she was back in training and feeling much better now. In the post, Charlotte revealed she took 8 weeks off but was now back getting her ‘groove’ back.
Charlotte has already had an incredible 2020. She won the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble and defeated Rhea Ripley to win the Women’s NXT Championship. Currently, Charlotte is a 12-time Champion in WWE and is getting closer to her father, Ric Flair’s 16-title record.
It should be noted that according to reports, WWE does not want Charlotte to rush back. Ric Flair said that she might be out for the rest of the year. Charlotte seems to be doing well now and may return to the ring in time for the 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble event. For now, she will continue to recover and get ready for her eventual WWE return.
