As seen on WWE’s Summerslam pay-per-view, WWE Hall of Famer Edge made his return to the company by interrupting Elias’ performance. However, the Hall of Famer had a card up his sleeve that no one would’ve expected.
Edge interrupted Elias’ music performance on the Summerslam kick-off show and confronted him in the middle of the ring. The fans went wild as the former World Champion rushed in and surprised Elias by hitting him with a spear.
This is especially surprising since this is the first time in years that Edge partook in any type of in-ring action, given the severity of his injuries. However, fans were elated to see the Rated R Superstar return in this capacity at the biggest party of the Summer.
