Jeff has a reputation of getting involved in high-risk spots which has often caused some injuries to him. Now it seems, he almost knocked out during his most recent match against The Young Bucks after an in ring accident.

‘The Charismatic Enigma’ was noticeably slow during the match. While speaking on his podcast, Matt Hardy revealed that Jeff Hardy was nearly knocked out during their match against The Young Bucks. That’s why he was pulled from this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Here is what Matt Hardy said:

“Very early on in the match Jeff was almost knocked out. So he got hurt pretty bad. That’s why he’s being pulled from the match in Los Angeles, obviously.

So he was kind of running on fumes going through the match. He still held up his end of the bargain pretty good in the big scheme of things,”

AEW announced a ten-man tag team match for this week’s “Dynamite” featuring AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, Christian and The Hardys vs. Undisputed Elite (Young Bucks, Adam Cole and reDragon). However, Jeff Hardy was pulled from the show and Adam Cole also missed in-ring action. Darby Allin and Hikuleo were named as the replacements of Jeff Hardy and Adam Cole respectively.
