Shaq asked John Cena if he had seen his AEW Dynamite match where he and Jade Cargill defeated Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on March 3rd, and it doesn’t appear Cena watches Dynamite. There were rumors of a John Cena AEW debut a few weeks ago.
“I had my first wrestling match a couple weeks ago — did you see it?” Shaq asked Cena in a TNT interview. “And I would like to get your criticism of what I should have did better.”
Cena said he hadn’t watched Dynamite, “Big Shaq, I’ve been sequester in a bunker here in Vancouver as they are really keeping the lock down to us. Now, I had heard you made your in-ring debut. I’m going to answer your question with a question. How did you feel about it? When it was all over, how did you feel about your performance?”
Shaq said he felt he did “pretty good.” John Cena’s Wipeout show airs on TBS, with commercials frequently airing during Dynamite, and Cody Rhodes is expanding his presence with the ‘Go Big Show’ on TBS and a new TNT reality show with his wife Brandi. Sadly, it appears Cena does not watch Dynamite, and his loyalty is still with WWE and NXT. Wrestling Inc transcribed the conversation.
