Keith Lee, the former NXT star who made his breakthrough into the main roster in a hige manner has been away from WWE programming for nearly a month.
He had also missed out on the last Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view which was a very big blow as the fans had been waiting for the Limitless One to make his entry into the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Why did Keith Lee return?
He made his much-awaited return on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw.
Lee’s last appearance on Raw saw him and the former WWE Champion, Sheamus teaming up to square off against the team of The Miz and John Morrison. They eventually went on to defeat them. He then defeated Sheamus in one-on-one competition in the following matchup.

Now, FightfulSelect.com reported before Raw that Lee was cleared as of this past weekend to return:
“We’re told that as of this weekend, Keith Lee had figured into WWE’s plans for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw. Lee was not at the WWE Royal Rumble, and has not wrestled since the January 11 episode of the show, missing three episodes of Raw.”
Thr possible reason Lee was away was because his real life girlfriend and RETRIBUTION member, Mia Yim was dealing with COVID-19. Lee was scheduled to be in the Royal Rumble according to Fightful, but was then pulled.
Lee made his return and competed inside the squared circle for the first time in nearly a month when he took on Riddle. He defeated the Original Bro pinning him after delivering a Spirit Bomb.
After the match, WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley turned up on the show and took down both Lee and Riddle.
A triple threat match is set to take place at Elimination Chamber pay-per-view for the United States Championship involving Riddle, Lashley, and Lee.
