New IWGP United States Champion crowned at Wrestle Kingdom 14

After parting ways with WWE, Jon Moxley’s first match was in NJPW. He faced off against Juice Robinson for the IWGP United States Title, where he won the title. He had to relinquish the title owing to travel issues. He then later challenged Lance Archer for the title at Wrestle Kingdom 14.

Moxley pushed Archer to his limits in a brutal Texas Deathmatch. It featured many brutal spots and after the dust settled, it was Moxley who came up with the win. He hit Archer with a Death Rider from the apron onto two tables, winning him the match.

This marks the second time he has won the IWGP United States Title and he is sure to defend it with everything he has.
