Paul Heyman Takes Shot At Hulk Hogan

Paul Heyman is anti Hulkamania, brother! Hulk Hogan bodyslamming Andre the Giant to retain the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 3 is one of the most iconic moments in WrestleMania history. However, Paul Heyman, the special counsel of ‘The Tribal Chief’ and current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns seemingly has an issue with this, along with other classic moments including in WWE’s ‘Then, Now, Forever’ introduction. Paul Heyman ‘buried’ this WWE diva after texts leak.

Discussing the issue on Talking Smack, the highly successful WWE Smackdown post-show, Heyman discusses how the now infamous moment of a fan’s shocked face after Brock Lesnar pinned The Undertaker to end his WrestleMania streak should be included, in addition to the unconventional pinfall that saw Roman Reigns retain his Universal Championship at WrestleMania 37. Credit to Sportskeeda for the following transcription.

“Can I ask you a question? You know the thing at the beginning when it says ‘Then, Now, Forever’? I see Freddie Blasie on there… he’s dead. I see Hogan slamming Andre… Andre’s dead. Why am I not [in the introduction]? I mean, iconic WrestleMania moments, Paul Heyman, the streak is conquered [shocked face]. Why is that not on ‘Then, Now, Forever’?”

Is Paul Heyman ‘replacing’ a long time client with this UFC star?  Heyman would continue: “Why is Roman Reigns pinning Edge and Daniel Bryan in the main event of WrestleMania, successfully defending the Universal Heavyweight Championship, on this, a Champions edition of Talking Smack… not on the open of ‘Then, Now, Forever’?”
