Kevin Owens cut an intense promo on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live where the former Universal Champion criticized Shane McMahon for taking up TV time from other deserving talents.
This promo was highly praised by fans and it appears that the whole thing was a result of WWE listening to their fan base and responding to the criticism on their product.
According to WrestlingNews.co, Kevin Owens’ shoot style promo was done because the company is aware of the public criticism of the recent angles involving Shane McMahon.
Not only that but the promo was start of a storyline that will phase Shane out of the WWE TV as a regular character, something fans have been rooting for in the recent while.
The site also noted that the recent decline in ratings have forced Vince McMahon to take more input on the product and he is listening to feedback more than ever.
