Roman Reigns Makes Huge Bruce Prichard ‘Demand’

On a recent episode of ‘The Nitty Gritty Dirt Sheet Preview Show’ hosted by Vince Russo, Vince sat down with co-host Billi Bhatti to discuss the creative direction of Roman Reigns and how WWE Executive Producer Bruce Prichard doesn’t actually have much creative say in Roman Reigns’ story arc whatsoever, as Reigns made it clear he wants two big names writing his storylines. Wrestling-Edge transcribed Bhatti’s remarks. This huge Roman Reigns WWE Fastlane spoiler just leaked.

Bhatti: Even Bruce [Prichard] who has been back for the company for a while now – his role has increased and decreased throughout. He’s been the Head of Creative, the Head Writer and whatnot. Bruce has had people coming to write him at times. For example, the Roman Reigns storyline – Bruce Prichard doesn’t write it, speak about it or not involved in it. Roman Reigns asks for it to be written by Paul Heyman and Michael Hayes who oversee everything in that story and a lot of the creative that is done on Smackdown is done by Daniel Bryan. So Bruce only comes in and oversees things. Prichard is not creatively involved with Smackdown at all, which is why it’s probably a better show.

In other news regarding ‘The Tribal Chief’, WWE Hall of Famer and five-time WCW Champion, Booker T lavished serious praise toward the WWE Universal Champion. Booker stated how he believes Reigns is on the best run of his career during a recent edition of his podcast. Credit to Wrestling Inc. for the quote below.

“It’s going to be a hard road to hold up, as far as going out there and actually matching up because he honestly doesn’t match up with Roman,” Booker T said. “Roman is a beast man. Roman has proved that he is truly the guy. I really feel that way. Not just because he said it, but because the guy is a top notch worker and top notch entertaining and performer. He knows the play book, he knows what Shakespeare is all about. That’s why everybody right now, come on man, all eyes on Roman.” Vince McMahon was ‘furious’ with a Roman Reigns match.
