Roman Reigns Reveals ‘Wrong’ Finish Ruined Fastlane

Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan during WWE’s Fastlane pay-per-view event two weeks ago. However, during the match it was shown that Reigns was actually tapping out to the ‘Leader of the Yes movement’. Unfortunately, the referee didn’t see it and therefore Bryan did not win the title on that particular night, losing after Edge interfered. In a recent interview with ESPN, Reigns stated that he wasn’t tapping out to Bryan, giving the explanation of sending Morse code for his actions instead, and fans interpreted the wrong finish. He stated the following comments. Credit to Ringside News for the below quote. This Roman Reigns WWE Girlfriend ‘breakup’ promo recently leaked.

“I told Paul (Heyman), I’m over here hitting Morse code to Paul. He had my mouth covered. We’re so like in tune with history and everything, I was Morse coding with him, telling him to fire up a jet. That wasn’t a tap. And you’re from the MMA,, they do (taps his shoulder) – that’s a tap, like you can hear the tap. I was just telling Paul, that’s all that was.”

During the same interview, he told ESPN interviewer, Ariel Helwani, ‘The Head of the Table’ got into a war of words with Helwani’s broadcast partner and UFC legend – Daniel Cormier. Credit to Cageside Seats for the following.

“I’ll smash anybody one-on-one, whether it’s Daniel Bryan one-on-one, Edge one-on-one, D.C. [Cormier] – I’ll smash ‘em all one-on-one, it don’t matter to me… get him from behind the table and back in the gym, maybe he’d have a chance.”
