Shane McMahon Is Gone From WWE Management

Dave Meltzer recently confirmed on the F4WOnline board that Shane McMahon is not in WWE, and has no role at all in management, and likely will not take over the company in any capacity in the future. Shane was last used as an on air talent at Survivor Series for The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony.

Sanyo posted, “Comcast (Who owns NBC Universal) could easily buy WWE. And I think Nick Khan is going to convince Vince to sell it by 2023 when renewals come up for due. Vince is getting old. Shane and Steph dont seem like they are smart or savvy enough to run the whole company.

Nick wants a big payday and I see him coming in simply to be the guy to negotiate the ultimate sale…its coming boys by 2023 WWE WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHET BIDDER, MOST LIKELY COMCAST!”

Dave responded, “Shane isn’t even in the company. If something happens, Nick Khan will be running the business and Levesque will be running creative. Stephanie will be the face of the company handling media which she already does.”

Shane McMahon demanding more money from Vince was just detailed. T_Viper added, “Dave, I totally understand your point about all the money being paid to WWE, why not just buy it…, but has there ever been an indication that Vince actually would want to sell his baby?

What would Vince even do if he sold it? He’s not exactly someone who’s just gonna chill on a yacht or a private island. The XFL is already dead (again), and I’m assuming he wouldn’t be approved to own an NFL team?

I always sort of imagined him passing the family business legacy (via his stocks) Don Corleone-style to Stephanie (Michael), then maybe one day she sells the company off for billions and her and Paul use it to ‘go legit,’ Godfather style.”
