The former WWE star The Rock, who has turned into a Hollywood actor makes sporadic appearances in WWE and whenever he does, fans get overwhelmed witnessing the Great One in the WWE programming, even if it is a video message.
The Rock could make a return to WWE
The People’s Champ had last made an appearance in WWE on SmackDown’s 20th Anniversary back in 2019. His return has been on the cards since then. The Rock also just made a bold Royal Rumble statement.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that the former WWE champion could make an appearance on Monday Night Raw soon to promote his new comedy TV series, Young Rock.
One of the fans had Tweeted to Meltzer asking that if the former WWE star could be a part of Raw in a video segment.
The fan wrote:
“@davemeltzerWON – Do you see The Rock appearing on RAW in likely a video segment to promote his new tv show in February?”
Meltzer reckoned that The Great One could make an appearance on the red brand as the show is on NBC and will have ‘heavy amount of wrestling content.’
He responded:
“I could see him going live. Only makes sense especially with the heavy amount of wrestling content the show will have and it’s on NBC.”

NBC is currently promoting a comedy series, ‘Young Rock’ that will see The Rock’s early years as a wrestler in WWE.
The show has been filmed in Queensland, Australia, as announced made by Universal Television.
The Universal Studio Group is producing the Young Rock series, NBC Universal International Studios’ Matchbox Pictures is also part of the production at Screen Queensland Studios.
NBC has given Young Rock a straight-to-series order back in January. The series is set to premiere on Tuesday, February 16 on NBC
The series also has a role of his late father, WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson.
