The WWE NXT official Twitter account stated the following as it pertained to a video of Toni Storm speaking about being out and being proud about her sexuality: “A member of the community and an ally. Thank you for sharing this with us, Toni Storm. We couldn’t be more proud. 💖💜💙 #Pride #PrideMonth #WeAreNXT”
Triple H then shared the tweet and sent out a message of his own to Toni Storm as he stated the following: “Proud of Toni Storm today and everyday. #WeAreNXT”
One fan then commented below Triple H’s reply to WWENXT: “I like her even more. So proud of her. We need more gay wrestlers to come out”
More than ever, WWE and wrestling in general have become more open as well as most sports and spectacles. It’s really great to see that as we need to be more inclusive in this era of sports and sports entertainment. Peacock has removed multiple poor taste footage from WWE’s past.
