Ahead of Tyron Woodley’s highly anticipated showdown with internet sensation turned boxer Jake Paul, Woodley took to social media via Instagram to show support and solidarity toward Sha’carri Richardson. Richardson, an American born sprinter, made news recently for testing postitve for marijuana at the 2020 Summer Olympic games. Tyron Woodley recently dropped this Jake Paul ‘racial’ bombshell.
Due to this development, Richardson had been given a one month suspension with her results from the U.S. Olympic trails deemed ‘disqualified’. In addition, Richardson is set to forfeit any medals, points and prizes as per the United States Anti-Doping Agency.
The top MMA fighter would address this in a newly released Instagram post with Woodley uploading a picture that stated: “I am a professional athlete, I too medicate and I fully support Sha’carri Richardson’ – indicating that Woodley also smokes marijuana. Woodley captioned the post by going: “I got your back” and tagging the social media account of the sprinter.
This top boxing name is training Tyron Woodley. Fans reacted to the post and to the suspension of Richardson in the Instagram comments section. Constitutionjournal wrote: “They have a whole entire man competing against women in power lifting but will not let this woman compete for this reason? I am not a smoker but this is silly.” While joshob3rting said: “Its not about whether it effects her performance work not. She broke the rules that she read, acknowledged, and signed. Dont agree with the rules, don’t sign. Period.”
