WWE is finally moving out of the Performance Center and into the Amway Center ahead of WWE SummerSlam. According to the reports, the move to the Amway Center means RAW and SmackDown will take place in the arena.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, WWE has been hosting their shows at the WWE Performance Center. Now, according to a report by Jon Alba, WWE’s plans for filming at the Amway Center have been revealed.
The reports indicate that the company has an agreement with Amway Center to film there until 30th October. However, fans will not be allowed in the arena.
A rep from the City of Orlando tells me and @MyNews13 #WWE has a use agreement with Amway Center through Oct. 30 with no fans present in the building. So barring an amendment in the agreement, no live fans through October, but WWE gets arena access for all events through then.
And here’s your confirmation: #WWE loading into Amway Center. #SummerSlam and other TV will be held at the building. Video and pics from our @MyNews13 crew. pic.twitter.com/819tcdEQ4w
