Update on behind-the-scenes chaos at WWE TV taping this week

More details on the backstage chaos that preceded the most recent WWE television taping have finally surfaced, and boy are they interesting.

While most TV shows these days are already crazy, last week the situation was made worse due to the falling ratings and Vince McMahon being “grilled” by investors about the slumping audience as well as various negative articles about the company in the financial and entertainment worlds.

Vince came up with Shane McMahon’s return as well as an angle with Randy Orton and Ric Flair, but wouldn’t commit to any other ideas and as of the morning of the show, that’s all he had approved as he was nixing every other idea that was suggested.

The next week is when another meeting was held, the one we previously reported lasted four hours, where Vince praised Bayley and surprised many by specifically naming Bianca Belair and Peyton Royce as two big future Superstars.

Vince reportedly saw potential in the two talents from the women’s roster on the WWE main roster based on their recent performances on television in what he feels is a sign of stepping up while the roster is so splintered due to the pandemic.

You know, the whole “grabbing the brass ring” thing.

We will keep you posted as updates continue to surface regarding future plans for Bianca Belair, Peyton Royce, as well as any other news and rumors from behind-the-scenes at upcoming WWE television shoots.
