The card for the next pay-per-view event being promoted by WWE, the Clash Of Champions event scheduled for later this month, is starting to take shape following this week’s WWE television shows on Monday and Friday.
On WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX this week, Jey Uso became the new number one contender to the WWE Universal Championship, earning a shot against his cousin Roman Reigns, the reigning title-holder, at the upcoming WWE Clash Of Champions 2020 pay-per-view.
Additionally, new number one contenders for the SmackDown Tag-Team Championships were decided, as Heavy Machinery (Otis & Tucker) defeat the team of The Miz and John Morrison to earn the next shot at reigning champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.
It is believed that the Heavy Machinery vs. Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura title bout will join the Reigns-Uso title bout on the PPV card scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2020.
With those two matches now known, featured below is an updated look at the lineup for the WWE Clash Of Champions 2020 pay-per-view.
