Vince McMahon is ‘furious’ with Edge vs. Roman Reigns being the WrestleMania main event news leaking prior to it being officially announced at Elimination Chamber. Drew McIntyre’s WrestleMania match was just revealed in spoilers.
The website WrestlingNews.co wrote about Ringside News reporting the news, “Yes, the story is accurate. Vince was upset when word got out that the main event [for WrestleMania] would be Edge and Roman. I think that was the moment when he decided to not clue in the wrestlers on future plans.”
It appears that Vince may be angry with Edge, Roman, and those close to them, as that may have been how news leaked. The Miz’s WrestleMania match and result leaking has also infuriated McMahon, as it shows what will happen with The Miz as WWE Champino.
Ringside News had reported that wrestlers are “on edge” not knowing their spots at the PPV. Talent also said that “the work environment [in WWE] is at an all time low.”
Ringside News’ Steve Carrier tweeted, “WWE isn’t letting people know what’s going on. That doesn’t stop with television. We were also told that many Superstars are “on edge” because “Very few talents know where they’re headed for WrestleMania.” Creative must ASK FOR PERMISSION before sharing any details with talent!”
