Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Sheamus are currently engaged in a feud that has been going on for quite some time now. On last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, the two clashed in a singles match. The end would see McIntyre pick up the win against the Celtic Warrior.
It seems the match received tons of praise backstage, most notably from WWE Chairman Vince McMahon himself. According to a report by FightfulSelect.com, it was stated that their match tore the virtual house down. Vince McMahon was also said to have been fired up and pleased with the match as well.
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus caught the attention of wrestling fans on Monday Night Raw, as their 24-minute match tore the virtual house down. Higher ups in WWE that we spoke to said that they were pleased with the match, and noted specifically Sheamus’ in-ring hot streak of late. We’re told that a large portion of the match was called in the ring as well. Vince McMahon in particular was said to have been fired up and happy with the match.
The two had a very brutal No Disqualifications match on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, which ended in a No Contest. The feud between the two is likely to culminate in a match at WWE Fastlane.
