WrestleMania 37 Set ‘Damaged’ In Sad Photos

Weather has been the story of the evening for WWE WrestleMania 37. However, the situation has turned out to be more severe than originally thought as the official Twitter account for Raymond James Stadium issued a weather alert, closing parking lots due to inclement weather.

 


 

Figure Four Weekly’s Bryan Alvarez and FOX Sports’ Ryan Satin would then tweet out pictures that showcased damage to the WrestleMania 37 set due to the weather, with chairs being knocked down. However, Raymond James Stadium sent out a follow up tweet indicating that fans were allowed to go back to their seats after being told to evacuate earlier in the day. WWE’s Chief Brand Officer, Stephanie McMahon stated that the event will be going on as normal. However, this is a flowing, ever changing situation that we will be monitoring as the night goes on. WrestleMania 37 is scheduled to take place as a two-night event on April 10 and 11, 2021 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Bryan Alvarez tweeted that the crew were repairing damage done to the set. The show had been briefly ‘on hold’ according to Alvarez.

Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair will be main eventing night one of WrestleMania 37, in a recent interview with The Undefeated, Banks discussed being one of the first African American females to main event WWE’s flagship event.

“That’s how much this moment means to the both of us: I’m shaking, she’s crying,” Belair said. “I think that just speaks volumes, to be in that moment and have that real emotion coming out of both of us.”
