WWE confirms changes in big Money In The Bank qualifier

WWE recently reported that Big Cass suffered a minor injury during a Live Event and while many believe it to be a work, people still wondered what it will mean for his announced Money In The Bank qualifying match.

Now the company has confirmed that his injury will affect his announced match with Samoa Joe and Cass has now been removed from the qualifying bout because he is not cleared to compete.

As a replacement, they have announced that Jeff Hardy will go one on one against the former SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan during this week’s episode of the Blue Branded Show.

The winner of this bout will go on to face Samoa Joe during the May 29th episode of SmackDown Live and whoever ends up being victorious will earn a spot at the upcoming Ladder match.

The timing of these events is very interesting and while not confirmed, people are already discussing if the recent reports about Big Cass having backstage heat has anything to do with these changes.
