WWE Fire Another Massive Name Before Raw

John Laurinaitis has been officially terminated by WWE after sexual misconduct allegations, PWInsider.com reports. The firing was ‘kept quiet except amongst a small circle.’ This comes after Vince McMahon left WWE over hugh money payments.

Brock Lesnar was not happy about Vince McMahon’s forced retirement. Several fans would simply agree that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.

After being away from WWE television for over a year, Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam in 2021, immediately setting his sights set on Roman Reigns. He also sported a ponytail, which was completely different from what fans were used to seeing him in.

Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Day 1. However, he would lose the title to Bobby Lashley after Roman Reigns interfered in the match thanks to Paul Heyman turning on The Beast Incarnate. After a hiatus, Lesnar came back and attacked Roman Reigns again.

He challenged Roman Reigns for his titles at WWE SummerSlam. It featured The Beast Incarnate using a tractor to destroy the ring as well. Lesnar was unable to win the match in the end.

Speaking with Josh Thomson on a recent episode of 5 Round Main Event, ‘Big’ John McCarthy gave his prediction for how Brock Lesnar vs Fedor Emelianenko would go.

“A fight that should have happened was Fedor Emelianenko versus Brock Lesnar. When the UFC was trying to sign Fedor, they were going to put Fedor right away against Brock, who was their champion. The UFC had way too much confidence in Brock Lesnar at that time. Now, Brock was a ticket-selling machine, this is a guy that everybody wanted to see, and everyone knew that Fedor at that time was the guy, he was the one coming from Pride, he was the GOAT… Fedor would have lit Brock Lesnar up… Brock did not like getting hit and if you don’t like getting hit, Fedor is not the guy that you want to fight… That’s a fight that should have happened, and the results would not have made Dana happy.”
