WWE Forced To Cancel Top WrestleMania 38 Match

Shane McMahon recently made his return and worked the WWE Royal Rumble match. However, prior to that, he had a heated argument with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and the producers backstage. He tried to push his ideas and wanted things to play out in his favor in the Rumble. He was seemingly self-centred with the ideas. This led to a heavy altercation and it seems Shane has parted ways with the company.

Shane McMahon replaced on WrestleMania 38 card

McMahon kept messing with celebrity guest Bad Bunny’s number in the Rumble. Shane also insisted that he be made to look good in the match. Frustration set in after Vince McMahon kept turning down his ideas. There was a ton of heat on him. WWE couldn’t ignore the problem.

It has come to light that WWE considered Shane to be a huge part of the upcoming WrestleMania 38. But, Wrestle Votes recently reported that Shane was originally going to wrestle near the top of the Mania card. However, some plans might have been changed. WWE has now been forced to scramble for a new major attraction for the grandest stage of them all.

“Source states the spot Shane McMahon was going to have on the WrestleMania card was to be positioned near the top. Therefore, WWE now needs a new “major attraction” matchup outside of the titles. This goes w/o saying, but the WM card is still in complete flux. It’s quite amazing.”

The WrestleMania card is likely to see some changes in the coming days. The main events appear to be set. But, the upper card could see some alterations. We will see how WWE works out with the replacement of Shane.
