Batista reveals how he dealt with his asthma during WWE matches

Former WWE Superstar Batista has publicly talked about his struggles with asthma before.

On Monday night, he brought it up again in a tweet about US President Donald Trump. The POTUS has returned to the White House after testing positive for COVID-19 and staying in the hospital for a few days.

Batista on tackling asthma attacks in the ring

President Trump seemed to have difficulty breathing while posing for the photographers. Batista, as well as many others, tweeted that seeing Trump struggle made him reach for his inhaler.

A fan then went on to ask if Batista ever had an asthma attack in the middle of a match and what precautions he took in case he ever had one. He revealed that he used to hide inhalers under the ring and with people who worked around the ring. Cold venues especially proved to be difficult for his breathing condition, he also said.

“I hid inhalers under the ring and with people working around the ring. I’m not kidding. The cold venues were my nightmare.”

Batista’s next Hollywood project is Denis Villeneuve’s much-awaited sci-fi thriller Dune, where he stars alongside Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, and Josh Brolin.
